ABOUT

Adam Blaylock is a singer/songwriter from Mesa, Arizona, whose musical journey began in the early-1980’s with Top 40 hits and country music before discovering grunge and punk rock in the mid-1990s. Influenced by bands like Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Green Day, and Alice In Chains, he picked up the guitar and eventually became a fixture in the Arizona pop-punk scene, performing with local bands like Curbside High, The Heartless, and several popular tribute bands. In 2011, Blaylock launched his solo project, EveningTheScore, releasing multiple albums, including Farewell, Aquarius and Panic.

In 2017 he broke into the world of podcasting with his show “A Guy, A Car, And A Podcast”. During an almost 3 year run of anything from freeform solo episodes to collecting interviews with friends, family, and fellow entertainers, he pushed the format into new realms by shooting and releasing a podcast documentary called “Back to the 'Burgh”, detailing his time as a Mormon missionary in the early 2000s in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He also composed the soundtrack for the film, currently available across streaming platforms. His project EveningTheScore continues to feature collaborations with local musicians, including contributions from Jim Wilcox of Authority Zero, while showcasing Blaylock's evolution as both a songwriter and performer. The establishment of Blayrock Records, Blayrock Films, and Blayrock Audio marks Adam’s long-held desire to use his experience and his network of contacts in the entertainment industry to help find, develop, and elevate other performers, artists, and storytellers.
